We offer yearly health maintenance visits. We see patients from pediatrics to elderly. Insurances will pay for these visits. Many things can be found by just doing a yearly visit with blood work. If you don't have insurance, please contact us for pricing that is reasonable.
Dietician
Duke loves that we offer a dietician for our weight loss patients, diabetics, autoimmune patients, and anyone who wants direction on eating healthy according to what is going on in their life. We believe that eating healthy is a key component to not just giving your body what it needs, but also helping heal your body. Insurances cover dietary surveillance and if you don't have insurance, we offer reasonable cash pay visits. Most people need just one visit and some need weekly, monthly, or yearly visits to manage their diet and health.
Mental Health
Though, Cindy is not a psychiatric NP, she has had extensive work experience in the mental health field. She and Amy are able to manage depression, anxiety, bipolar, schizophrenia, ADD/ADHD, and other mental health concerns. We recommend EMDR, CBT for PTSD and other mental health concerns and will refer you to qualified therapists. Always, if you are having suicidal thoughts, please go to your nearest emergency department to get emergency help. We are here to help with crises and chronic management.
Joint injections or trigger point injections
We offer steroid injections for joints or trigger points. Sometimes, with trigger points, we just do lidocaine. We are able to perform PRP, but this service will come at a later time.
Hormone Replacement Therapy
Cindy has been managing hormone replacement for the last 15 years for men and women. I order extensive blood work or work with other saliva companies to get hormone readings and then make a good plan to get you feeling better by using troches, oral, injections and/or creams. We will monitor your hormones and to ensure you are doing well. My philosophy is that sometimes providers can go overboard on HRT, but I try to use reason and what your body actually needs according to how you feel and lab results.
Housecalls/Home Visits if Applicable
This means if you or your loved one qualifies, the provider can come to the home or facility and take care of the patient there. We work with families, facilities (if patient lives there), home health and hospice agencies, wound care and nail care. We are skilled at managing dementia/Alzheimer patients. We manage medications, acute illnesses, blood work where phlebotomist comes to the patient, as well as radiology for x rays and ultrasounds that comes to the patient. We take most insurances. Acute, Chronic Illness, & Chronic Disease Managment
We mange acute and chronic illnesses by visits and blood work. We can order extensive work up for those struggling find answers to health concerns and refer to appropriate specialists.
Work, School, Travel Exams
We offer sports phsyicals for the youth. Insurance will pay for those once a year. Also, if travel or school needs a work note or visit, we are able to help with that!
Regenerative Medicine; Stem Cells Infusion & Joint Injection
Regenerative medicine has been around for many years. Bone marrow stem cell transplants began in 1956. Over the years, the use of stem cells has been used to treat all kinds of ailments. There are several different types of stem cells. A lot of people fly to Mexico to get Wharon's jelly, which is umbilical stem cells. We can not say stem cells cure any disease because we can't scientifically back that up, but based on evidenced based research Wharton's jelly has been used to treat chronic pain related to various disease processes and has had huge success. Whartons jelly is not covered by insurance and is an out of pocket expense. I consider it an investment. Our stem cells die off as we age and as we age, we are prone to diseases, illness and cancer. Family Planning
Family planning consists of different types of birth control, including oral, nova ring, Depo-provera and different types of IUDs. There are ways to family plan without the use of medication, but that takes consistent monitoring and dedication. When it comes to wanting a baby and it's been longer than a year, there are some things that can be done before you see the fertility specialist by checking hormones andn other blood work for female and male partners.
Medicinal Cannabis
QMP is a medical qualified provider who has been trained and certified by the state of Utah. Amy and I can recommend medicinal cannabis for qualifying diagnoses (depression, anxiety and insomnia are not qualifying diagnoses) and you have to be 21 or older. We will walk you through the process. Per state law, you are required to meet with the cannabis pharmacist, where he makes his recommendations. I also help hospice patients receive their card. Medicare/hospice or insurances in general do don't pay for this visit or the medication. My fees are better than most clinics. Text or call for details.
IV Therapies & Aesthetics
DUKE is happy to offer additional services, such as IV therapies, that will be more affordable than specific IV clinics. These IV kits come with varying ingredients of amino acids, B12, vitamin C, magnesium, calcium, multivitamins, minerals, and more, depending on which one you choose, mixed with a bag of saline. We would love to help you feel better at an affordable cost so that you can get back to feeling your best! You can monthly for a lower cost to receive weekly infusions or you can pay one at a time.
We do have an aesthetician who does limited services, but offers facials with facial readings, lymph facials, Reiki, hot stones, intuitive channel of loved ones, intuitive chakra balancing, intuitive chakra with stones and crystals and spirit guides and angels.
Cerumen Removal
We have an elephant ear wash that works really great for cerumen impaction. This is less painful using tools alone.
Gynecology
We do yearly or every 2 year PAP smear, along with a comprehensive wellness check. If there is an abnormal problem, we can do a gynecological exam with PAP and refer you if needed based on testing.
End of Life Discussions
We specialize in elderly care, hospice/palliative and end of life discussions. End of life discussion with patient and family can be emotionally difficult and we are here to help walk you through that journey.
Functional Medicine
Functional medicine has become a huge part of medicine the last several years. Many people are seeking other ways to treat their ailments with supplements alone or with western medicine- depending on the comfort level and disease process. We are here to help offer healthier options to treat the root cause of chronic or acute illness. Functional medicine is not covered by insurance, but I offer supplements at a discounted rate because my goal is to help you feel and be healthy.
