Medicinal cannabis still has a bad rap, but our providers have seen it help people more than it has harmed. There is a process and things we monitor.
The main reason we recommend cannabis is for chronic pain, but other qualifications include, hospice, cancer, ALS, MS, muscle spasms, PTSD, Crohn’s, etc.
It can not be recommended for psychiatric conditions, such as schizophrenia, uncontrolled bipolar, depression, or anxiety nor for insomnia in the state of Utah.
There are many great benefits, but it’s not for everyone. If you would like more information, we can send you evidence-based research and refer you to medical cannabis.utah.gov.
