From the Provider
Hello, my name is Cindy, and have dedicated my entire adult life to medicine and helping people find the answers to their physical and emotional concerns. I have been able to help thousands of people over the years. I have been a provider for the last 15 years in many various settings and have loved every minute of it!
I lost both parents in 2023; dad in July and mom in November. They both were my constant support and gave unwavering love. My dad helped my dream come true and saw my potential and my mom was an example to me by being a nurse and professor herself, giving her entire life to helping patients, They both taught me so much. So, in honor of Mom & dad, I have chosen the clinic name.
Cindy's Bio
I have a breadth of experience that has prepared me to be a healer and patient advocate.
I have experience in the entire scope of post-acute and acute care settings:
I started my career as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility at the age of 17. 15 years of nursing experience including medical, surgical, oncology, cardiovascular, orthopedic, pediatric intensive care, labor & delivery, newborn nursery, neonatal intensive care, geriatrics, and post-partum. 15 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner with broad-based experience in acute and chronic care, including bio HRT, psychiatric care, weight loss, women/men’s health, and infant to elderly care. 8 years of teaching experience as an Assistant Nursing Professor during my RN years and an instructor at Weber State University in the Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner programs for 1 year.
Skilled at procedures including skin biopsies, wound care, suturing, pediatric procedures, casting, IUDs/PAPs, and other general clinic procedures. I have expertise in the geriatric population, including dementias, internal medicine, and psychiatric illness. 14 years of experience with hospice. 6 years of experience in Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing Care. I always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. Probably because my mom was one. I was always taking care of people in my youth. I had this drive to help people and have a career in nursing, which led to a post-master’s degree in family practice. Now I can help people even more, which has been a gift and a blessing! I also have a passion for providing community, patient, and family education. I have 5 children and 2 grandchildren. I don’t have a lot of free time, but enjoy spending time with family and friends.
